Global Production Research was founded in 2003 by Dr Gunnar Paulsson – a Swedish national with track records in
management
consulting and business economics research. |
|
As a consultant, Gunnar
has contributed to numerous market and business development projects
of international companies in manufacturing industries. |
|
Following an overseas UNIDO assignment, Gunnar takes an interest in
issues of industrial development in emerging
economies. His related research and consulting activities have focused on: the organisation of
cross-border value chains, how operations in emerging economies
contribute to competitiveness, and the
factors driving the choice of location of manufacturing activity. |

Gunnar Paulsson holds an M.Sc. degree
in Business Administration from the University of Linköping (Sweden), and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from the
University of Sussex (UK). |
